Oh My Heartsie Girls Wonderful Wednesday

Hi ladies, I do hope this finds you all well, everyone that you know. I, fortunately, have not or do not I know anyone that has dealt with COVID. With that said, however, as many of us, it has taken its toll on what we knew and may never know again be a “normal life”. I like many, don’t even know what day it is just “day”, my schedule is crazy and I’m not sleeping well and don’t get enough exercise and I find myself tired all the time? weird! Does any of that sound familiar?

“In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.”

I found this quote as well;

Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess.
Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.

Here is what I do each day, I take a minute to smell the roses!

  1. Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 4-20 to 4-24 on my blog. On Tuesday was Gluten Free Brownies. Wednesday was Baked Chicken Breast. Thursday was Baked Spaghetti Squash. And winding up this Week of Stay at Home is Tip Friday Storing Cookies and How-To Make Homemade Sour Cream. Enjoy!

  2. I too am thankful that we have not had (nor know anyone that has) Covid and I do find that all this uncertainty can make me very anxious so I try very hard not to think beyond today or this week. I just keep reminding myself that I can’t do anything about things that are outside my control and to just breathe deep and hope/ pray it all works out in the end.

    1. I totally understand what we cant control. I have been staying busy sewing face masks to add to Etsy. Try and make a few dollars.
Keep breathing, praying for all my blogging friends to get us through this crazy time.
      Stay safe Stay well!

    1. Thank you Michele for stopping by. I am well and keeping busy. I have brought out my sewing machine and making masks. I will be adding to my Etsy store soon. I forgot how relaxing it is to sew!!
      Have a lovely week!

  3. Thanks so much Karren, I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling out of sorts, these are not easy times…I am focusing on being creative and positive, that really helps! So glad we can still blog!

    1. Jenna, thank you for stopping by, I love seeing all your paintings they are so bright and cheerful!! I was on your blog the other day and saw those darling birdhouses, Bike and basket are cute too!! Good job!
      Have a wonderful week!

  4. I think smelling the roses or anything that’s blooming is vital, Karen. Of course, it’s allergy season, but I’ll take the trade off as long as there’s still Claritin. I feel all of those things as well and keep fighting to get back on track. As long as we keep trying we’ll be okay. Sending you warm and safe wishes from WI.

    1. Im lucky Jeanna I am not allergic to flowers, only Cedar trees, kinda like pine when I drive through one area going to SL, just for a few minutes.
And you are right, we can worry about what we cant or dont have any control over. I have taken up making masks every day, Im making a stockpile to post on Etsy, I have really enjoyed sewing in the evening. I dont really watch TV.
      Stay positive and safe.
      Hugs from LV Nevada

  5. Thanks for the party, Karren. I think we’re all feeling about the same as you. It’s certainly stressful as the days blend one into another.
