Fall Features

autumn-spice-cookies Baked By A Garden For The House

As I search for new an interesting fall features for this weeks Wordless Wednesday and this week my first feature comes from one of the nice newsletters I receive from my readers, this one comes from Kevin at “A Garden For The House”. He says, and I quote, ” I’m not a big cookie-enthusiast. In fact, most put me to sleep. Toll house cookies? What a snore!  Oatmeal-raisin cookies? Blech!  But Autumn Spice Cookies, which contain molasses, cinnamon, allspice and — get this — black pepper? Now we’re talkin.” His recipe is pumped with spices and the addition of pepper that sounds great. So if your up to trying his recipe and looking for the recipe find it here Autumn Spice Cookies

Caramel Apples are so delicious and I found these over at Say It With Cake! Dont they look delicious and ready to bite into? She says she has found new way to eat them, by cutting them in slices with a knife. She explains; these Caramel apples can be decorated any way you want, but these were made by dipping in sliced and crushed almonds, mini chocolate chips, and then piped with melted chocolate- YUM!  And she says. they can also be a great gift, just wrap them in pretty cellophane paper and tie with a ribbon.  The perfect Halloween treat! Easy recipe 3 ingredients!! Caramel Apples @ Say it With Cake

Those yarn pumpkins are so cute!!! And look easy!! I just bought some fairly inexpensive mason type jars for use for Christmas presents…like making homemade scrubs, ingredients for cookies etc. Looking for recipes and ideas is so much fun. I may actually make it to Pinterest some day soon!

    Have a great day Karren!
