Plan Ahead When Traveling To The Big Apple

Airport Transportation

The funny thing about airports is that they’re designed to make travel easier, but getting to and from the airport often makes our lives at least a little bit harder. If we park our personal car at the airport, then we have to pay a pretty high parking fee for however many days we’re going to be out of town. Whether you’re flying domestically or internationally, such as staying in New York or flying off to an exotic location and staying at Welk timeshares, traveling to the airport can be a major hassle. Because of that, most people look for alternatives by asking a friend or taking a cab, but those aren’t perfect options either. Then, finally, we get to the airport, get through security, and board the plane. But once the plane lands, guess what we have to do? Yup, it’s time to figure out the whole transportation thing once again. It’s all pretty stressful, but there are ways to reduce the amount of worry it brings you. Plan Ahead When Traveling To The Big Apple

Airport quirks

Not every airport is created equal. Some are fresh and modern and have plenty of space, relatively speaking. Others are crowded and in need of some serious upgrades. Some airports are great on the inside but terrible on the outside. For instance, Denver International Airport pops up a lot on the list of best, most customer-friendly airports, but it’s in the middle of nowhere. When you leave the airport, it takes a while to really get anywhere, including Denver. Then there are places like LaGuardia Airport, which is definitely somewhere (more specifically, New York City), but location doesn’t matter when passengers seem to hate it so much. It’s criticized for being too small and out-of-date, and it also has a serious issues with flight delays and cancellations. In fact, New York City residents don’t have any really amazing options when it comes to airports. Newark Liberty International in New Jersey has similar issues as LaGuardia, plus you have to go to New Jersey.

Big Apple travel

A lot depends on exactly where you’re coming from and where in the city you’re staying, but John F. Kennedy International Airport, or JFK, is often considered the least bad option for New York City travelers. Even then, it’s still got a ton of people and a ton of traffic both in and outside the airport, so make sure to figure out a plan for transportation, then do your best to stick with it. Otherwise, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, especially if you’re an out-of-towner traveling to New York. New York is a great place, but it’s a lot to take in.

If you’re planning a trip to the Big Apple, get a quote from car service to JFK a few days before you start your journey. You’ll want something safe and convenient, as well as a service you can trust. There are plenty of services once you land at JFK, but you won’t know a darn thing about those companies or the drivers they employ. Find a company you can trust and then book a reservation. Air travel today can still be exhausting and demeaning, but at least you won’t have to worry about finding a way to your hotel once you land.
